Present’Osa’s story is a journey of creativity, heritage, and the courage to dare. It began in 2013, when Ascenzio Faiazza, architect and bold visionary, decided to bring one of his signature desserts to a friends’ dinner. Yet it felt too safe, too predictable, lacking that vital spark. From that moment sprang a challenge: to create something audacious, something that would surprise, something out of the box.
Among the sketches of bold, imaginative concepts, including a space station made entirely of biscuits, another vision struck him: a traditional neola (ferratella) wafer cookie infused with the essence of the precious Abruzzi jewel Presentosa.
Thus, Present’Osa was born.
Not just a dessert, but a full sensory experience that melds art, elegance, and tradition, all while looking to the future.

Ascenzio Faiazza
Ascenzio Faiazza, hailing from Pescara, Abruzzo, seamlessly integrates art, ethics, and sustainability into every aspect of his work. His journey combines aesthetic exploration with civic engagement, as he is a dedicated animal rights activist who has embraced veganism as a way of life.
Respect and beauty are the guiding principles behind his creations, and this is particularly evident in Present’Osa. As its founding messenger, Ascenzio presents a vision of a sustainable ecosystem where elegance, flavour, and respect coexist harmoniously.
“Sustainability is a fundamental principle in architecture, and, in my opinion, it should guide all our efforts. We are increasingly recognizing that we belong to a single global community, composed of people, animals, land, sky, and sea. It is essential to protect this interconnected ecosystem without borders or the interests of individual states. Additionally, I aspire to create an architectural form that aligns with vegan principles. While I haven’t yet found the perfect term to define it, I believe this notion effectively conveys the idea“.
